The Alta-Aurelia Warriors basketball team scored 48 points and held the visiting West Bend-Mallard Wolverines to 37 in the Warriors league triumph on Thursday.

The Warriors now sport a 12-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Newell-Fonda for a Twin Lakes contest on Friday, February 3. Alta-Aurelia will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 77-31 non-league win over Cherokee Washington (Cherokee, IA). The Mustangs record now stands at 17-2.

The Wolverines (7-10) will now prepare for their contest against Pocahontas (Pocahontas, IA). The Indians enter the Twin Lakes contest with a 8-2 record. In their last contest, Pocahontas ran past East Sac County (Lake View, IA), 72-36, in a league contest.
