Archbishop Carroll Patriots (Radnor, PA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Neumann-Goretti Saints (Philadelphia, PA), 67-49 in a league bout.

With the victory, Archbishop Carroll upgrades its record to 9-9 on the campaign. The Patriots host Lansdale Catholic (Lansdale, PA) to play the Crusaders in a Philadelphia Catholic bout on Thursday, February 9. The Crusaders come into the bout with a record of 18-2. Lansdale Catholic won 49-31 in their recent league bout against Archbishop Wood (Warminster, PA)

Next up, the Saints play the Cardinal O'Hara Lions (Springfield, PA) in a Philadelphia Catholic bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Neumann-Goretti will attempt to upgrade on its 8-12 season record. The Lions come into the bout with a 16-4 record after their 53-50 non-league loss to William Penn Charter (Philadelphia, PA).
