The Belmond-Klemme Broncos basketball team scored 43 points and held the host Northwood-Kensett Vikings to 35 in the Broncos non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Broncos now sport a 12-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Forest City for a North Iowa contest on Tuesday, February 7. Belmond-Klemme will battle a Indians team coming off a 61-60 league win over Lake Mills (Lake Mills, IA). The Indians record now stands at 11-10.
The Vikings (8-13) will now prepare for their contest against Osage (Osage, IA). The Green Devils enter the non-league contest with a 19-1 record. In their last contest, Osage ran past Rockford (Rockford, IA), 70-18, in a non-league contest.
