Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Ontonagon Gladiators (Ontonagon, MI) and the visiting Johnston Speedboys (Bessemer, MI), saw Ontonagon's basketball squad wallop Johnston by a tally of 60-21.

With the victory, Ontonagon improves its record to 10-6 on the campaign. The Gladiators travel to L'Anse (L'Anse, MI) to confront the Purple Hornets in a non-league challenge on Monday, February 6. The Purple Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 7-8. L'Anse lost 53-42 in their recent non-league challenge against West Iron County (Iron River, MI)

Next up, the Speedboys confront the Mellen Granite Diggers (Mellen, WI) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Johnston will attempt to improve on its 2-14 season record.
