Central Blue Devils (Newark, NJ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Bloomfield Bengals (Bloomfield, NJ), 60-42 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Central upgrades its record to 12-6 on the season. The Blue Devils travel to University (Newark, NJ) to clash with the Phoenix in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 4. The Phoenix go into the bout with a record of 13-6. University won 41-33 in their recent league bout against West Orange (West Orange, NJ)
Next up, the Bengals clash with the Clifton Mustangs (Clifton, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, February 15. Bloomfield will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record.
