In Thursday's league outing, the Branham Bruins (San Jose, CA) basketball squad edged the visiting Evergreen Valley Cougars (San Jose, CA), by a margin of 57-51.
The Bruins (19-3) will now prepare for their outing against Silver Creek (San Jose, CA). The Raiders go into the Blossom Valley - Mt. Hamilton outing with a 6-14 record. In their last outing, Silver Creek was tipped by Pioneer (San Jose, CA), 32-15, in a league outing.
The Cougars now own a 14-7 record. They play next when they host Oak Grove for a Blossom Valley - Mt. Hamilton outing on Tuesday, February 7. Evergreen Valley will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 51-44 league loss to Christopher (Gilroy, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 8-13.
