Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Brethren Bobcats (Brethren, MI) and the host Crossroads Charter Academy Cougars (Big Rapids, MI), saw Brethren's basketball squad knock off Crossroads Charter Academy by a count of 53-42.

With the victory, Brethren upgrades its record to 15-1 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Kent City (Kent City, MI) to play the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 4. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 14-3. Kent City won 50-17 in their recent league challenge against Chippewa Hills (Remus, MI)

Next up, the Cougars play the Pentwater Falcons (Pentwater, MI) in a West Michigan D challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Crossroads Charter Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 9-7 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 6-11 record after their 48-34 league win over Bear Lake (Bear Lake, MI).
