Sand Creek Aggies (Sand Creek, MI) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Britton Deerfield Patriots (Britton, MI), 40-33 in a league bout.

With the victory, Sand Creek upgrades its record to 10-7 on the campaign. The Aggies host Arbor Prep (Ypsilanti, MI) to play the Gators in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 4. The Gators come into the bout with a record of 9-4. Arbor Prep won 52-31 in their recent non-league bout against South Lyon East (South Lyon, MI)

Next up, the Patriots play the Concord Yellowjackets (Concord, MI) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 6. Britton Deerfield will attempt to upgrade on its 3-14 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the bout with a 2-13 record after their 67-27 league loss to Springport (Springport, MI).
