The Ligonier Valley Rams basketball team (Ligonier, PA), was nudged 49-43 in Thursday's league battle with the host Burrell Bucs (Lower Burrell, PA)

The Bucs now sport a 8-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Deer Lakes for a WPIAL 3A 3 battle on Thursday, February 9.

The Rams (2-16) will now prepare for their battle against Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, PA). The Vikings come into the WPIAL 3A 3 battle with a 13-7 record. In their last battle, Mt. Pleasant was nudged by Shady Side Academy (Pittsburgh, PA), 63-38, in a league battle.
