North Carolina High School Basketball - Charlotte Christian overwhelmed by Cannon

The Charlotte Christian Knights basketball team (Charlotte, NC), was overwhelmed 69-20 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Cannon Cougars (Concord, NC)

The Cougars now possess a 20-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Providence Day for a NCISAA Charlotte Independent battle on Tuesday, February 7. Cannon will confront a Chargers team coming off a 55-26 league win over Covenant Day (Matthews, NC). The Chargers record now stands at 19-5.

The Knights (3-19) will now prepare for their battle against Charlotte Latin (Charlotte, NC). The Hawks come into the NCISAA Charlotte Independent battle with a 14-7 record. In their last battle, Charlotte Latin was overwhelmed by Charlotte Country Day School (Charlotte, NC), 42-40, in a league battle.
