The Central Aroostook Panthers basketball team (Mars Hill, ME), dropped 44-32 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Houlton Shiretowners (Houlton, ME)
The Shiretowners now possess a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hermon for a B North battle on Saturday, February 4. Houlton will battle a Hawks team coming off a 66-37 league loss to Caribou (Caribou, ME). The Hawks record now stands at 8-7.
The Panthers (9-7) will now prepare for their battle against Fort Kent (Fort Kent, ME). The Warriors come into the C North battle with a 9-8 record. In their last battle, Fort Kent dropped by Caribou (Caribou, ME), 63-47, in a non-league battle.
