Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Central Christian Crusaders (Sharpsburg, GA) and the host Peachtree Academy Panthers (Covington, GA), saw Central Christian's basketball squad hold off Peachtree Academy by a tally of 34-27.
With the victory, Central Christian improves its record to 11-7 on the campaign. The Crusaders host Trinity Christian School of Griffin (Griffin, GA) to play the Lions in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 3. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 2-8. Trinity Christian School of Griffin lost 43-7 in their recent non-league challenge against Central Fellowship Christian Academy (Macon, GA)
Next up, the Panthers play the Lanier Christian Academy Lightning (Flowery Branch, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 3. Peachtree Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-10 season record. The Lightning come into the challenge with a 11-13 record after their 44-26 league loss to Fideles Christian (Cumming, GA).
