St.Ignace Saints (St. Ignace, MI) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Cheboygan Chiefs (Cheboygan, MI), 57-18 in a league bout.

With the win, St.Ignace upgrades its record to 11-5 on the season. The Saints host Engadine (Engadine, MI) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Monday, February 6. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 9-6. Engadine won 63-16 in their recent non-league bout against Pellston (Pellston, MI)

Next up, the Chiefs play the Petoskey Northmen (Petoskey, MI) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Cheboygan will attempt to upgrade on its 4-12 season record. The Northmen go into the bout with a 10-6 record after their 54-45 league win over Gaylord (Gaylord, MI).
