The Coronado Leopards basketball team scored 38 points and held the visiting Chesterton Academy Saints to 32 in the Leopards league triumph on Thursday.

The Leopards now sport a 4-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hozho Academy for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 4. Coronado will battle a Wolves team coming off a 57-20 non-league loss to Tse' Yi' Gai (Cuba, NM). The Wolves record now stands at 4-14.

The Saints (2-7) will now prepare for their contest against Jemez Valley (Jemez Pueblo, NM). The Warriors enter the A District 7 contest with a 13-8 record. In their last contest, Jemez Valley nudged Coronado (Gallina, NM), 66-30, in a league contest.
