The Tularosa Wildcats (Tularosa, NM) basketball crushed the visiting Cloudcroft Bears (Cloudcroft, NM), 61-27 in Thursday's league test.
The Wildcats (10-10) will now prepare for their test against Mescalero Apache (Mescalero, NM). The Chiefs go into the 2A District 3 test with a 15-7 record. In their last test, Mescalero Apache walloped Lordsburg (Lordsburg, NM), 49-39, in a league test.
The Bears now own a 3-15 record. They play next when they host Capitan for a 2A District 3 test on Saturday, February 4. Cloudcroft will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 51-30 league win over Lordsburg (Lordsburg, NM). The Tigers record now stands at 17-5.
