Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Corry nipped by Oil City

The Oil City Oilers tipped the host Corry Beavers basketball team by a tally of 37-32 in Thursday's league battle.

The Oilers now possess a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bradford for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 4. Oil City will battle a Owls team coming off a 59-27 league loss to St. Marys (St. Marys, PA). The Owls record now stands at 2-13.

The Beavers (3-11) will now prepare for their battle against Meadville (Meadville, PA). The Bulldogs come into the District 10 Region 5 battle with a 5-12 record. In their last battle, Meadville was nudged by Conneaut Area (Linesville, PA), 46-41, in a league battle.
