The Potomac Wolverines (Oxon Hill, MD) basketball knocked off the host Crossland Cavaliers (Temple Hills, MD), 55-40 in Thursday's league test.

The Wolverines (6-9) will now prepare for their test against Surrattsville (Clinton, MD). The Hornets go into the Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A test with a 10-7 record. In their last test, Surrattsville went down by Oxon Hill (Oxon Hill, MD), 56-29, in a league test.

The Cavaliers now own a 0-12 record. They play next when they travel to Gwynn Park for a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A test on Tuesday, February 7. Crossland will encounter a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 63-19 league win over Fairmont Heights (Capitol Heights, MD). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 13-7.
