The Triton Mustangs basketball team scored 46 points and held the visiting Cumberland Colts to 44 in the Mustangs league triumph on Thursday.

The Mustangs now sport a 7-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Highland Regional for a Tri-County - Liberty contest on Tuesday, February 7. Triton will battle a Tartans team coming off a 41-24 non-league win over Eastern (Voorhees, NJ). The Tartans record now stands at 6-4.

The Colts (1-10) will now prepare for their contest against Timber Creek Regional (Erial, NJ). The Chargers enter the non-league contest with a 9-7 record. In their last contest, Timber Creek Regional was nudged by Trenton Catholic Academy (Trenton, NJ), 50-40, in a non-league contest.
