Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Duarte Falcons (Duarte, CA) and the host Workman Lobos (City of Industry, CA), saw Duarte's basketball squad hold off Workman by a tally of 32-26.

With the victory, Duarte improves its record to 11-13 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Geffen Academy (Los Angeles, CA) to confront the Bruins in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 9. The Bruins come into the challenge with a record of 10-6. Geffen Academy won 38-30 in their recent league challenge against California Academy of Math & Science (Carson, CA)

Next up, the Lobos confront the Calvary Chapel Grizzlies (Downey, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 3. Workman will attempt to improve on its 5-19 season record.
