With the victory, Roxana improves its record to 10-16 on the campaign. The Shells host Southwestern (Piasa, IL) to play the Piasa Birds in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 4. The Piasa Birds come into the challenge with a record of 4-19. Southwestern lost 52-27 in their recent league challenge against Carlinville (Carlinville, IL)

Next up, the Oilers play the Breese Central Cougars (Breese, IL) in a Cahokia - Mississippi challenge, on Friday, February 3. East Alton-Wood River will attempt to improve on its 8-17 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 17-9 record after their 42-32 league win over Columbia (Columbia, IL).
