The NCSSM: Durham Unicorns (Durham, NC) basketball felled the host East Wake Academy Eagles (Zebulon, NC), 35-25 in Thursday's league test.
The Unicorns (14-4) will now prepare for their test against Raleigh Charter (Raleigh, NC). The Phoenix go into the 1A/2A Conference 12 test with a 5-11 record. In their last test, Raleigh Charter went down by Falls Lake (Creedmoor, NC), 67-32, in a league test.
The Eagles now own a 7-9 record. They play next when they travel to Research Triangle for a 1A/2A Conference 12 test on Tuesday, February 7. East Wake Academy will encounter a Raptors squad coming off a 36-23 league loss to Franklin Academy (Wake Forest, NC). The Raptors record now stands at 1-19.
