The Ellwood City Wolverine basketball team (Ellwood City, PA), dropped 51-40 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Mohawk Area Warriors (Bessemer, PA)
The Warriors now possess a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Riverside for a WPIAL 3A 1 battle on Thursday, February 9.
The Wolverine (8-12) will now prepare for their battle against Beaver Falls (Beaver Falls, PA). The Tigers come into the WPIAL 3A 1 battle with a 5-8 record. In their last battle, Beaver Falls dropped by Laurel (New Castle, PA), 60-39, in a league battle.
