New Mexico High School Basketball - McCurdy ripped by Escalante

The Escalante Lobos basketball team scored 58 points and held the host McCurdy Bobcats to 11 in the Lobos league triumph on Thursday.

The Lobos now sport a 13-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Questa for a 2A District 5 contest on Saturday, February 4. Escalante will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 43-41 league loss to Penasco (Penasco, NM). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-12.

The Bobcats (0-17) will now prepare for their contest against Mesa Vista (Ojo Caliente, NM). The Trojans enter the 2A District 5 contest with a 19-2 record. In their last contest, Mesa Vista triumphed over Mora (Mora, NM), 63-19, in a league contest.
