Hale Eagles (Hale, MI) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Fairview Eagles (Fairview, MI), 36-25 in a league bout.

With the win, Hale upgrades its record to 6-4 on the season. The Eagles travel to Au Gres-Sims (Au Gres, MI) to play the Wolverines in a North Star bout on Monday, February 6. The Wolverines go into the bout with a record of 3-7. Au Gres-Sims lost 60-25 in their recent league bout against Hillman (Hillman, MI)

Next up, the Eagles play the Posen Vikings (Posen, MI) in a North Star bout, on Monday, February 6. Fairview will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record.
