The Mounds View Mustangs basketball team scored 72 points and restricted the host Forest Lake Rangers to 58 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Thursday.

The Mustangs now sport a 10-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Cloud Tech for a non-league contest on Friday, February 3. Mounds View will battle a Tigers team coming off a 61-41 non-league win over St. Cloud Cathedral (St. Cloud, MN). The Tigers record now stands at 7-10.

The Rangers (7-13) will now prepare for their contest against Elk River (Elk River, MN). The Elks come into the non-league contest with a 13-5 record. In their last contest, Elk River prevailed over Osseo (Osseo, MN), 52-36, in a non-league contest.
