The Freeman Falcons basketball team scored 33 points and held the visiting Johnson County Central Thunderbirds to 24 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Falcons now sport a 10-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sterling for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 7. Freeman will meet a Jets team coming off a 49-42 non-league win over Diller-Odell (Odell, NE). The Jets record now stands at 14-4.

The Thunderbirds (5-15) will now prepare for their contest against Elmwood-Murdock (Murdock, NE). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 15-5 record. In their last contest, Elmwood-Murdock was defeated by Auburn (Auburn, NE), 33-32, in a non-league contest.
