The Kearsarge Cougars (North Sutton, NH) basketball knocked off the visiting Gilford Golden Eagles (Gilford, NH), 53-39 in Thursday's league test.
The Cougars (7-1) will now prepare for their test against Concord Christian (Concord, NH). The go into the non-league test with a 9-1 record. In their last test, Concord Christian notched a victory over Fall Mountain (Langdon, NH), 57-25, in a non-league test.
The Golden Eagles now own a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Inter-Lakes for a Division III test on Friday, February 3. Gilford will encounter a Lakers squad coming off a 30-25 non-league loss to Moultonborough Academy (Moultonborough, NH). The Lakers record now stands at 2-7.
