Wheaton North Falcons (Wheaton, IL) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Glenbard North Panthers (Carol Stream, IL), 53-50 in a league bout.

With the victory, Wheaton North upgrades its record to 14-13 on the campaign. The Falcons host Geneva (Geneva, IL) to play the Vikings in a DuKane bout on Saturday, February 4. The Vikings come into the bout with a record of 22-3. Geneva won 69-50 in their recent league bout against St. Charles East (St. Charles, IL)

Next up, the Panthers play the St. Charles North North Stars (St. Charles, IL) in a DuKane bout, on Saturday, February 4. Glenbard North will attempt to upgrade on its 8-17 season record. The North Stars come into the bout with a 23-5 record after their 52-50 league win over Lake Park (Roselle, IL).
