The South Creek Cougars basketball team (Robersonville, NC), was overwhelmed 49-11 in Thursday's non-league contest with the visiting Hobgood Charter Raiders (Hobgood, NC)
The Raiders now sport a 9-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cape Hatteras for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 7. Hobgood Charter will meet a Hurricanes team coming off a 40-27 league win over Bear Grass Charter (Williamston, NC). The Hurricanes record now stands at 10-8.
The Cougars (0-15) will now prepare for their contest against Bertie (Windsor, NC). The Falcons enter the 1A Conference 2 contest with a 5-11 record. In their last contest, Bertie triumphed over Tarboro (Tarboro, NC), 49-44, in a league contest.
