Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the North Star Academy (Newark, NJ) and the visiting Irvington Blue Knights (Irvington, NJ), saw North Star Academy's basketball squad overcome Irvington by a tally of 56-41.

With the victory, North Star Academy improves its record to 7-5 on the campaign.

Next up, the Blue Knights confront the Montclair Mounties (Montclair, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Irvington will attempt to improve on its 12-3 season record. The Mounties come into the challenge with a 12-5 record after their 58-8 non-league win over Barringer (Newark, NJ).
