Pennsylvania High School Basketball - North Schuylkill crushes Jim Thorpe

North Schuylkill Spartans (Ashland, PA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Jim Thorpe Olympians (Jim Thorpe, PA), 63-35 in a league bout.

With the win, North Schuylkill upgrades its record to 10-2 on the season. The Spartans host Williamsport (Williamsport, PA) to play the Millionaires in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 4. The Millionaires go into the bout with a record of 5-11. Williamsport lost 53-49 in their recent non-league bout against Crestwood (Mountain Top, PA)

Next up, the Olympians play the Nativity BVM Green Wave (Pottsville, PA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 4. Jim Thorpe will attempt to upgrade on its 10-10 season record. The Green Wave go into the bout with a 5-11 record after their 50-45 league loss to Schuylkill Haven (Schuylkill Haven, PA).
