The Lake City Tigers (Lake City, MN) basketball knocked off the host Plainview-Elgin-Millville Bulldogs (Elgin, MN), 59-49 in Thursday's league test.

The Tigers (7-11) will now prepare for their test against Cotter (Winona, MN). The Ramblers go into the non-league test with a 8-2 record. In their last test, Cotter notched a victory over Wabasha-Kellogg (Wabasha, MN), 63-37, in a league test.

The Bulldogs now own a 8-8 record. They play next when they travel to Wabasha-Kellogg for a A Section 1 test on Friday, February 3. Plainview-Elgin-Millville will encounter a Falcons squad coming off a 65-21 league loss to Caledonia (Caledonia, MN). The Falcons record now stands at 0-18.
