The St. Charles North North Stars (St. Charles, IL) basketball nipped the host Lake Park Lancers (Roselle, IL), 52-50 in Thursday's league test.
The North Stars (23-5) will now prepare for their test against Glenbard North (Carol Stream, IL). The Panthers go into the DuKane test with a 8-17 record. In their last test, Glenbard North was tipped by Wheaton North (Wheaton, IL), 53-50, in a league test.
The Lancers now own a 14-13 record. They play next when they host Wheaton-Warrenville South for a DuKane test on Saturday, February 4. Lake Park will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 59-52 league loss to Batavia (Batavia, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 7-20.
