Minnesota High School Basketball - Lyle/Pacelli edges Schaeffer Academy

The Lyle/Pacelli Athletics (Lyle, MN) basketball nipped the visiting Schaeffer Academy Lions (Rochester, MN), 42-39 in Thursday's league test.

The Athletics (2-14) will now prepare for their test against Fillmore Central (Harmony, MN). The Falcons go into the A Section 1 test with a 8-10 record. In their last test, Fillmore Central was tipped by Rushford-Peterson (Rushford, MN), 57-49, in a league test.

The Lions now own a 6-13 record. They play next when they host Southland for a A Section 1 test on Friday, February 3. Schaeffer Academy will encounter a Rebels squad coming off a 46-26 league loss to Kingsland (Spring Valley, MN). The Rebels record now stands at 3-17.
