In Thursday's league outing, the Mainland Regional Mustangs (Linwood, NJ) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Our Lady of Mercy Academy Villagers (Newfield, NJ), by a margin of 51-26.
The Mustangs (18-2) will now prepare for their outing against Cedar Creek (Egg Harbor City, NJ). The Pirates go into the Cape/Atlantic - National outing with a 9-10 record. In their last outing, Cedar Creek smashed Hammonton (Hammonton, NJ), 33-29, in a non-league outing.
The Villagers now own a 11-9 record. They play next when they travel to Gloucester County Tech for a non-league outing on Saturday, February 4.
