Maplewood Tigers (Guys Mills, PA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Union City Bears (Union City, PA), 49-19 in a league bout.

With the win, Maplewood upgrades its record to 15-4 on the season. The Tigers host Rocky Grove (Franklin, PA) to clash with the Orioles in a District 10 Region 2 bout on Monday, February 6. The Orioles go into the bout with a record of 0-13. Rocky Grove lost 76-16 in their recent league bout against Cambridge Springs (Cambridge Springs, PA)

Next up, the Bears clash with the Cambridge Springs Devils (Cambridge Springs, PA) in a District 10 Region 2 bout, on Monday, February 13. Union City will attempt to upgrade on its 9-8 season record.
