With the victory, Mesa Vista improves its record to 19-2 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to McCurdy (Espanola, NM) to confront the Bobcats in a 2A District 5 challenge on Saturday, February 4. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a record of 0-17. McCurdy lost 58-11 in their recent league challenge against Escalante (Tierra Amarilla, NM)

Next up, the Rangers/Rangerettes confront the Penasco Panthers (Penasco, NM) in a 2A District 5 challenge, on Saturday, February 4. Mora will attempt to improve on its 6-14 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 10-10 record after their 43-41 league win over Questa (Questa, NM).
