The Mid Peninsula Wolverines basketball team (Rock, MI), dropped 40-31 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Stephenson Eagles (Stephenson, MI)

The Eagles now sport a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bark River-Harris for a Central Upper Peninsula battle on Monday, February 6. Stephenson will battle a Broncos team coming off a 45-22 non-league win over North Dickinson (Felch, MI). The Broncos record now stands at 10-5.

The Wolverines (2-8) will now prepare for their battle against Superior Central (Eben Junction, MI). The Cougars come into the Central Upper Peninsula battle with a 9-4 record. In their last battle, Superior Central prevailed over Big Bay de Noc (Cooks, MI), 52-25, in a non-league battle.
