The Milaca Wolves basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the host Pierz Pioneers to 47 in the Wolves non-league victory on Thursday.
The Wolves now sport a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chisago Lakes Area for a non-league contest on Monday, February 6. Milaca will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 64-56 league win over Princeton (Princeton, MN). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-12.
The Pioneers (8-9) will now prepare for their contest against Esko (Esko, MN). The Eskomos come into the AA Section 7 contest with a 9-6 record. In their last contest, Esko prevailed over South Ridge (Culver, MN), 63-54, in a non-league contest.
