    • Ohio High School Basketball - Mineral Ridge overwhelmed by Waterloo

    February 2, 2023: Mineral Ridge, OH 44440

    The Waterloo Vikings basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the host Mineral Ridge Rams to 35 in the Vikings league victory on Thursday.

    The Vikings now sport a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Springfield for a Mahoning Valley - Scarlet contest on Monday, February 6. Waterloo will battle a Tigers team coming off a 58-35 non-league loss to West Branch (Beloit, OH). The Tigers record now stands at 17-3.

    The Rams (10-10) will now prepare for their contest against Lowellville (Lowellville, OH). The Rockets come into the Mahoning Valley - Scarlet contest with a 8-11 record. In their last contest, Lowellville triumphed over McKinley (Sebring, OH), 57-20, in a league contest.
