Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Mt. Pleasant overwhelmed by Shady Side Academy

The Shady Side Academy Bulldogs basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the host Mt. Pleasant Vikings to 38 in the Bulldogs league victory on Thursday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 15-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Deer Lakes for a WPIAL 3A 3 contest on Monday, February 6. Shady Side Academy will battle a Lancers team coming off a 60-37 league loss to Apollo Ridge (Spring Church, PA). The Lancers record now stands at 5-15.
The Vikings (13-7) will now prepare for their contest against Ligonier Valley (Ligonier, PA). The Rams come into the WPIAL 3A 3 contest with a 2-15 record. In their last contest, Ligonier Valley was routed by Apollo Ridge (Spring Church, PA), 55-41, in a league contest.
