With the victory, Steele improves its record to 23-11 on the campaign. The Knights travel to San Marcos (San Marcos, TX) to confront the Rattlers in a 6A Region IV District 27 challenge on Friday, February 3. The Rattlers come into the challenge with a record of 14-17. San Marcos won 63-58 in their recent league challenge against Clemens (Schertz, TX)

Next up, the Unicorns confront the East Central Hornets (San Antonio, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 27 challenge, on Friday, February 3. New Braunfels will attempt to improve on its 14-19 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 23-11 record after their 48-38 league loss to Judson (Converse, TX).
