North Crawford Trojans (Soldiers Grove, WI) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Weston Silver Eagles (Cazenovia, WI), 36-30 in a league bout.
With the victory, North Crawford upgrades its record to 2-9 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to De Soto (De Soto, WI) to play the Pirates in a Ridge & Valley bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Pirates come into the bout with a record of 1-14.
Next up, the Silver Eagles play the Kickapoo Panthers (Viola, WI) in a Ridge & Valley bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Weston will attempt to upgrade on its 2-12 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 16-5 record after their 49-32 league win over Ithaca (Richland Center, WI).
