Nebraska High School Basketball - Sumner-Eddyville-Miller topped by Overton

The Overton Eagles basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the host Sumner-Eddyville-Miller Mustangs to 42 in the Eagles non-league victory on Thursday.

The Eagles now sport a 17-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Amherst for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 4. Overton will battle a Broncos team coming off a 42-34 non-league win over Wilcox-Hildreth (Wilcox, NE). The Broncos record now stands at 15-5.

The Mustangs (15-2) will now prepare for their contest against Wilcox-Hildreth (Wilcox, NE). The Falcons come into the non-league contest with a 15-5 record. In their last contest, Wilcox-Hildreth dropped by Amherst (Amherst, NE), 42-34, in a non-league contest.
