The Chico Panthers basketball team scored 40 points and held the host Red Bluff Spartans to 24 in the Panthers league triumph on Thursday.
The Panthers now sport a 16-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Foothill for a contest on Tuesday, February 7. Chico will battle a Cougars team coming off a 43-27 league win over Shasta (Redding, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 3-6.
The Spartans (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Foothill (Palo Cedro, CA). The Cougars enter the contest with a 3-6 record.
