The Swansboro Pirates topped the visiting Dixon Bulldogs basketball team by a final score of 38-30 in Thursday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Pirates face the Croatan Cougars (Newport, NC) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, February 7. Swansboro will attempt to move on its 8-5 season record. The Cougars enter the game with a 6-2 record after their 38-33 non-league win over West Carteret (Morehead City, NC).
