Granite Bay Grizzlies (Granite Bay, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Rocklin Thunder (Rocklin, CA), 48-30 in a league bout.

With the win, Granite Bay upgrades its record to 10-15 on the season. The Grizzlies host Folsom (Folsom, CA) to clash with the Bulldogs in a bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 26-0. Folsom won 60-29 in their recent league bout against Whitney (Rocklin, CA)

Next up, the Thunder clash with the Del Oro Golden Eagles (Loomis, CA) in a bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Rocklin will attempt to upgrade on its 3-17 season record. The Golden Eagles go into the bout with a 20-7 record after their 50-43 league loss to Oak Ridge (El Dorado Hills, CA).
