In Thursday's non-league outing, the East Rockingham Eagles (Elkton, VA) basketball squad nipped the host Madison County Mountaineers (Madison, VA), by a margin of 32-26.

The Eagles (14-6) will now prepare for their outing against Luray (Luray, VA). The Bulldogs go into the non-league outing with a 10-8 record. In their last outing, Luray was tipped by Page County (Shenandoah, VA), 47-36, in a non-league outing.

The Mountaineers now own a 14-6 record. They play next when they host Mountain View for a non-league outing on Tuesday, February 7.
