Franklin Broncos (Franklin, VA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Southampton Indians (Courtland, VA), 47-19 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Franklin upgrades its record to 10-5 on the season. The Broncos travel to Sussex Central (Sussex, VA) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Friday, February 3. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 4-5. Sussex Central lost 57-45 in their recent non-league bout against Carver College and Career Academy (Chester, VA)
