Gateway Olympians (Aurora, CO) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Thornton Trojans (Thornton, CO), 49-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Gateway upgrades its record to 6-7 on the season. The Olympians host Skyview (Thornton, CO) to play the Wolverines in a bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Wolverines go into the bout with a record of 14-2. Skyview won 72-36 in their recent league bout against Adams City (Commerce City, CO)

Next up, the Trojans play the Aurora Central Trojans (Aurora, CO) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Thornton will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record.
